phone interview with the lady from the marijuana research study -

woke up around 10:30 am then fell back asleep until 11:30 am

around 11:35 am i got a call from an unknown 212 number

the lady asked if i was ‘joseph’

i said ‘yeah’

she was calling me because i left her a message about a marijuana study

she asked if i had 5 minutes for a phone interview

i said ‘okay’

after about 2 minutes of standard health questions

she started asking me about drugs

‘when was the last time you smoked weed?’

‘7 hours ago’

‘in what form do you smoke weed?’

‘blunts’

‘how many times do you smoke blunts a week?’

‘10-15’

‘how many people do you smoke blunts with?’

‘between 2-12’

‘have you ever done any downers [named a bunch of downers]’

‘yeah, xanax’

‘how often do you do xanax’

‘umm once a….[short pause] once a week’

‘have you ever done cocaine?’

‘yeah’

‘how often do you do cocaine’

‘like twice a year or something’

‘have you ever done heroin’

‘[a long pause] no…’

‘is there any drugs i didnt mention that you have done’

thought dmt, lsd, k, mdma

said ‘i dont think so’

she asked if i would be okay with smoking weed in a room

and having a doctor do pain tests on me for 7 hours, 4 different days

with a $600-700 compensation

i said ‘that sounds good’

she told me to go on the A train to 168th st

walk to 40 ____ ave

go inside room 30500

find the phone in the room and call extension 6238

and wait for someone to come out with paperwork

i said ‘okay’
